Convey recommends implementing holiday shipping deadlines into your peak season planning on a lane by lane level. A good starting point may be a popular lane, for example NJ -> NY. To ensure a high chance of delivery, use Convey’s Conservative Cutoff Date. To continue shipping for more days at the risk of a higher chance of late delivery, use Convey’s Aggressive Cutoff Date. The Conservative Cutoff Dates are modeled so that packages shipped by that date have a 97% chance of being delivered by December 24. The Aggressive Cutoff Dates are modeled so that packages shipped by that date have over a 90% chance of being delivered by December 24.
